REGISTRATION CENTER
The Registration Center will be in a location TBA on the Cal Poly Pomona Campus. It is expected to be open:

Tuesday, 12 June from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 13 June from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, 14 June from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday, 15 June from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  1. Program organizers and/or presenters in the Professional category may register at a reduced cost for the full meeting. Please refer to "Professional Presenter or Program Planner Full Meeting" category above.
  2. Advance registration discounts end on Friday, 26 May. Beyond this date, all registrations will be at the on-site rate. All registrations starting Monday, 4 June must be done on-site at the Registration Center (Tuesday through Friday, 1215 June).
  3. The Pacific Division office will close to new business at the close of business on Friday, 1June to allow time to prepare materials for the meeting and travel to Pomona.
  4. Student registrations include a one-year student membership to AAAS, which includes on-line access to Science magazine and all other member privileges. Students must fill out the AAAS Membership Form at the time of registration to receive this benefit. This form is part of the Advance Registration Form packet that can be downloaded from this page.

STUDENT AWARDS BANQUET

The Student Awards Banquet is scheduled for Thursday evening, 14 June in a location TBA. The cost is $40.

The evening is planned to begin at 6:00 p.m. with reception, followed by a sit down dinner starting about 6:30 p.m. The evening should end by about 9:00 p.m.

Students who are competing for awards of excellence are invited to attend the banquet at the reduced price of $15. Students planning to attend the banquet must be sure to request a discounted ticket by checking the appropriate box in the lower portion of the front page of the Advance Registration Form and including the appropriate payment with their registration fee.




FIELD TRIPS

Several educational field trips are planned for Tuesday and Saturday. Click here to read about them.
Field trips are typically full-day events but may be shorter or longer.
The cost of a field trip is determined by the nature and anticipated expenses of the particular trip.
All field trips are offered on a space-available basis. Early registration is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointments.
Persons not registered for the AAASPD meeting will be charged an additional $10 field trip registration fee. A person will pay the fee only once, regardless of whether they participate in one, two, or more field trips.

REFUNDS

Requests for refunds must be in writing and received in the Pacific Division office no later than 1 June 2018. Requests can be made via USPS, fax, or e-mail (aaaspd@sou.edu). A handling fee of $15.00 will be applied. Refunds to credit cards will incur an additional 3.5% fee on the amount of the original charge to help cover the costs of the credit card fees assessed to the Pacific Division.
